How a cash game works

Pick a stake and a match length: one game, or a match to 3 or 5 points with the doubling cube. Both players put in the buy-in plus a 5% entry fee, and the winner takes both buy-ins. You see your opponent’s name, and you are paired with a player near your rating.

Deposits and withdrawals in USDC

Deposit USDC on the Base network (from $10), or buy it with a card at checkout. Withdrawals go to any Base address, for a $0.25 network fee.

Dice you can verify

The dice for each match come from a server seed fixed before play (its hash is shown to both players) combined with a seed from each player. After the match, both players can recompute every roll.

Free tables and free analysis

Every account gets 888 coins a day for the free table (88 coins a game, no cash value), a daily backgammon puzzle, and free GNU Backgammon analysis of its matches.

Invite only, for now

We open in waves. Join the waitlist and your account works at once: play the free tables while you wait, and the cash tables open on the same account when you are let in.

Questions

Can you play backgammon online for real money?
